For movie directors, a sore male organ is comedic gold. A character who takes a hit to the groin is sure to make an audience roll with laughter, especially since most directors ensure that the wounded guy gets right back up in a scene or two. The shots just seem funny, especially since movie characters rarely end up with long-term male organ care concerns related to the blows.
But in reality, a sore male organ problem isn’t a laughing matter. Just ask a man that will be referred to here as Edward. When he got sore, he didn’t feel like laughing at all.
How it Happened
“Just a heads up: This is a pretty brutal story. But it’s true, and I think every guy out there should know that it can happen, and that’s why I’m talking about it,” Edward says.
“I was the kind of guy who didn’t like to wear underwear,” he says. “I just liked to let things hang free as I was walking around. It felt good to me. Plus, when I wanted to get busy with a lady, I didn’t have to mess with a whole bunch of clothing. I was pretty much ready to go on demand. I liked that, too.”
“I’d never had a problem with it, but on this particular night, I was wearing jeans with a zipper fly, and I was just getting to know a lady partner,” he says. “She was the impatient sort, and before I could warn her or anything, she was tugging on my zipper like crazy.”
“You guessed it: A little bit of the head of my member got caught in the zipper, and she kept pulling before she noticed,” he says. “So I had a bit of very sensitive skin all tangled up with the metal of the zipper. I was screaming my head off.”
“When this kind of thing happens, you’re temped to just keep pulling on that zipper to get the skin free, but let me tell you, the pain is worse than I can describe,” he says. “There’s no way I was going to let anyone touch anything down there unless there was some form of pain management involved. So off to the hospital I hobbled.”
The Right Care
Men with trapped skin like this can sometimes free themselves by cutting the zipper, or they can use screwdrivers to pull the teeth of the zipper apart. But injuries like this are associated with several nasty symptoms, including:
• Bleeding
• Swelling
• Bruising
• Blistering
That makes the area hard to work with, and that could make DIY efforts futile. Going to a doctor is, then, the safer option.
“It was super embarrassing to be in the emergency room with my private parts stuck in my zipper. I won’t lie,” says Edward. “I don’t think I made eye contact with anyone the whole time I was there. I just kept looking at the floor and hoping the whole thing would go away.”
“But, after a while, they gave me some sedation and they broke that zipper apart. I don’t know how they did it, as I was too afraid to look, but they did manage to get my skin free. I didn’t even need stitches,” he says.
“But my sore male organ problems lasted for quite some time. The skin that had been trapped was red and bloody and bruised. Even sitting down hurt for weeks,” he says.
“I’m all healed now, but you can bet that I always wear underwear,” he says. “I’m never going through that again!”
Guys like Edward, who have been through a traumatic injury, need to focus on skin health, so they can allow their traumatized tissues to heal and stay resilient. A male organ health cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) can help. These products have everything damaged tissues need in order to function beautifully in the days ahead.
